COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 16 Ohio State women's gymnastics team earned its first win of the season in its first Big Ten Conference meet of the year, defeating Rutgers, 195.750-194.100, Saturday evening at Jersey Mike's Arena in Piscataway, N.J.

Four Buckeyes won event titles in the first road meet of the year. Tory Vetter earned the vault title with a season-high tying 9.850. She added a season-high 39.175 for the all-around title. Courtney McCann and Rylee Guevara scored season-best 9.850s on beam to win the team's second straight event title on the apparatus. JJ Coleman scored a meet-high 9.900 on floor for her first event title of the season and second consecutive meet with a 9.900 on the apparatus.

Ohio State outscored Rutgers on vault (48.975), beam (48.900) and floor (49.175) for the meet win. The Buckeyes have won both vault titles on the year.
Freshman Jaylyn Pomager recorded a career-high score on vault (9.800) to help the Buckeyes to the event title.
