COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track and field program has 12 entries set to compete in the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships this Wednesday, June 11 through Saturday, June 14 following their efforts in the NCAA Outdoor East First Round.
The men's and women's events alternate competition days, with the men's events scheduled for Wednesday, June 11, and Friday, June 13, while the women's events take place on Thursday, June 12, and Saturday, June 14.
The entries' events include the men's 400m (Edidiong Udo), men's 110m hurdles (Braxton Brann), men's long jump (DJ Fillmore), men's discus throw (Tanner Watson), women's 100m (Leah Bertrand), women's 200m (Bertrand & Fatouma Conde), women's 100m hurdles (Janela Spencer), the women's high jump (Amaya Ugarte), the women's and men's 4x100m relay teams and the men's 4x400m relay team.

SEASON RECAP FOR ENTRIES
- Marcus Brown, Nazzio John, Nick Biega and Denzell Feagin qualified for the NCAA East First Rounds as a 4x100m relay squad after they ran a season best (at the time) 39.38 seconds at the second USF Invite of the season and rank 49th in the nation in the event. This group advanced to nationals with a new season best time of 39.21 seconds.
- Prior to the NCAA First Rounds, Brann had a season-best time of 13.64 seconds in the men's 110m hurdles, which ranked 51st in the nation. He jumped all the way up to 14th after having the fourth-fastest hurdles time (13.36 seconds) at the first round, setting a new program record.
- Fillmore had the 51st best men's long jump distance of the regular season – 7.68m / 25'2.50" in the Big Ten Outdoor Championships. He punched his ticket to nationals after placing 10th in the first rounds.
- Udo had a season best men's 400m time of 45.19 (ranked 13th), which took place at the Tom Jones Memorial. He then placed sixth in the first round event, advancing to nationals.
- The reigning Big Ten outdoor men's 4x400m relay champion team (Noah Carmichael, Mason Louis, Brann and Udo) qualified for the NCAA East First Round with their championship time of 3:04.08. At the first rounds, they placed sixth with a new season best (3:03.42) that currently ranks 24th in the country.
- The women's 4x100m relay squad (Bobbi Olive, Spencer, Conde and Bertrand) punched its ticket to Oregon after placing third in its heat with a season best time of 43.46 seconds.
- Spencer, who ranks 15th in the women's 100m hurdles, earned her NCAA Championships qualification with a personal best time of 12.94 seconds.
- Bertrand ranks third nationally in the women's 100m with a time of 10.92 seconds, which she set at the NCAA East First Rounds. Her time broke the 100m program record and is tied for No. 3 on the all-time performers list in the event at the NCAA East First Round. Bertrand's first round 200m time of 22.71 seconds not only sends her to Oregon but is also a PR. She now resides on the top five women's 200m individual performances with the third fastest time.
- Conde also qualified for the women's 200m championship, having a personal record of 22.78 seconds at the first rounds. Already being fifth on the top five women's 200m individual performances list, Conde improved from her previous time of 22.91 seconds and moved up to fourth on that list behind Bertrand.
- Watson owns the 43rd best men's discus throw of 57.57m / 188'0" (Raleigh Relays). His first round throw of 56.70m / 186'0" qualified for the finals.
- Ugarte placed seventh at the first rounds, recording the 21st ranked women's high jump (1.82m / 5'11.50").
