
Buckeyes Add Commitment from Transfer Josh Ojianwuna

A 6-10 transfer Josh Ojianwuna (oh-john-WOO-nuh) has announced his commitment to Ohio State on Tuesday. Ojianwuna played the last three seasons at Baylor and heads to Columbus with one season of eligibility.
Ojianwuna is coming off his best collegiate season where he averaged 7.4 points and 6.8 rebounds while shooting nearly 78 percent from the floor for the Bears in 2024-25. He was part of three Baylor teams that advanced to the NCAA Tournament and he appeared in 87 games over the last three years.
The Asaba, Nigeria native has competed on a number of levels, including attending the NBA Academy Africa in 2017 before transitioning to NBA Global Academy in 2019. He was a Top 100 recruit in the 2022 class according to 247Sports.
At 6-10 and 230, Ojianwuna is an athletic center that brings size and physicality to the Buckeye front court, joining Christoph Tilly and Ivan Njegovan.
