Boutte Garners Freshman All-America Honors from D1Softball

Rookie pitcher won 21 games for Ohio State in 2025
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Freshman pitcher Lorin Boutte was named on Wednesday to D1Softball's Freshman All-America team, the organization announced.
A native of St. Charles, Mo., Boutte was 21-9 in the circle this spring and tied the Ohio State record for wins by a freshman pitcher. She had a 3.63 earned run average and struck out 127 batters in 152.1 innings. Boutte began her career by throwing a no-hitter against North Carolina Central on Feb. 7 and went on to be named the Big Ten's Freshman of the Week.
A member of the Big Ten's All-Freshman Team, Boutte had one of her most notable conference outings against Indiana on March 29 when she limited the Hoosiers to just two hits over seven innings in a 7-1 series-opening victory.
