COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State men's lacrosse senior attackman Alex Marinier was named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday. The award is his fourth of the season.
Marinier tallied seven points in the Buckeyes' 14-10 win at then-ranked No. 17 Johns Hopkins last Saturday. He reached the mark on six goals and one assist to record his ninth multi-goal game of the season and his fifth game with four or more goals in a single contest this year.
The Burlington, Ont. native leads the Buckeyes, and the conference, with 40 goals in 2025. He is just the 15th player in program history to score 40 times in a single season.
