Buckeyes Card 282 in Opening Round of Big Ten Championship

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State opened the 2025 Big Ten Championship at Baltimore Country Club on Friday with a round of 2-over 282 and are in eighth place after 18 holes.
Individually, Tyler Sabo and Timotej Formanek posted rounds of 1-under 69 to lead the Buckeyes. Both players made two birdies and just one bogey in their rounds and they are tied for 14th headed into Saturday.
Joe Wilson IV opened with a 1-over 71, which included an eagle on the par-5 fourth hole. He is tied for 29th. Vaughn Harber and Jack Vojtko each carded rounds of 1-over 73 and are in 58th place.
Just eight shots separate second place and 12th place after the opening round. The Buckeyes will be off the first tee at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning with Minnesota and Wisconsin.
