COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 21 Ohio State women's lacrosse team fell to No. 10 Michigan, 14-7, Thursday night at Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium. The Buckeyes are now 8-2 overall and 1-2 in Big Ten play while the Wolverines improve to 7-3 on the year and 2-1 in conference matchups.

Brynn Ammerman led the Buckeyes with three points in the game. Makenna Harrington and Emily Magalotti each scored twice in the game. Goalie Jocelyn Torres finished the game with 10 saves.

How it Happened
- Kate Tyack recorded her team-high 23rd goal of the season at the 12:57 mark to give Ohio State the first lead of the game.Â
- Michigan tied the game at 10:24 and took the 2-1 lead, its first of the game, at 5:23. The Wolverines added a goal at 5:07 to take the 3-1 lead at the end of the first quarter.
- Ohio State scored the first goal of the second quarter with Ammerman scoring player-up on the team's first possession just 13 second into the stanza.
- The Wolverines responded at 13:04, but the Buckeyes answered again, this time scoring two goals within a minute to tie the game again at four. Zoe Coleman found the back of the net at 10:50 and Emily Magalotti added the fourth tally at 9:54 to knot the game. Ammerman assisted both goals.
- Ohio State took its second lead of the game off a goal from Makena Harrington at 6:04 in the quarter. The Buckeye advantage was strengthened by Magalotti's second goal of the quarter at 4:38 as the team outscored Michigan 5-1 in the second to take the 6-4 lead at the half.Â
- Neither team scored for the first seven minutes of the second half until Michigan recorded its first tally at 6:33 of the third quarter and went on a nine-goal scoring run that continued into the fourth quarter.
- The Wolverines outscored the Buckeyes 10-1 in the second half, with Ohio State's lone goal of the half scored by Harrington with 19 seconds to play in the game. Â
