
Buckeyes in 12th Through Two Rounds of Colleton River Collegiate

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State carded rounds of 302-300 on the opening day of the Colleton River Collegiate on Sunday and sit in a tie for 12th heading into Monday’s final round. The event is being played on the challenging Dye Course at the Colleton River Club in Bluffton, S.C.
Freshman Vaughn Harber led the Buckeyes with rounds of 74-76. Tyler Sabo is a shot behind him after rounds of 77 and 74 while Timotej Formanek and Joe Wilson IV are both at 8-over par. Wilson IV posted a 74 in the morning to pace the team in the first round.
Sabo led the Buckeyes with six birdies on the day while Wilson IV had four birdies and an eagle at the par-5 11th in the second round.
Jack Vojtko rebounded from a tough opening round to finish with a 75 in the afternoon. Topher Reed is playing in the individual event which was contested on the Nicklaus Course on Sunday. He opened with a round of 5-over 77.
The final round is scheduled to begin on the first and tenth tees beginning at 7:45 a.m.
