COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 2 seed Ohio State women's hockey team's matchup is set for its NC Women's Ice Hockey Tournament Regional Final game. The Buckeyes will face off against No. 8 St. Lawrence at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 15 from the OSU Ice Rink.

The winner of Saturday's game will advance to the 2025 Frozen Four at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis, Minn. The semifinals are set for 5 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Friday, March 21, with the national championship game at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 23.

Ohio State in the NC Women's Ice Hockey Tournament
- This is the fourth straight season Ohio State plays host for the regional round of the NC Women's Ice Hockey Tournament. The Buckeyes have been one of the top three seeds of the tournament for the last five seasons.Â
- Ohio State is 10-3 all-time in the NCAA tournament. The team made its first tournament appearance in 2018 and has made seven tournament appearances in program history. This year is the sixth consecutive tournament for the Buckeyes, which is the second longest active NCAA appearance streak.
- Ohio State has played five of the 10 other tournament teams this year. The team is 8-6-2 against the tournament field in 2024-25.
- The Buckeyes are the reigning national champions, winning the 2024 title with a 1-0 win over Wisconsin. Ohio State has won two of the last three national championships.
- Patty Kazmaier Top 10 Finalist Joy Dunne leads the Buckeyes with 54 points and 30 assists on the year. The sophomore is sixth among tournament players in points. Dunne is one of six WCHA players who were named top 10 finalists for the Patty Kaz. She is just the ninth Ohio State player to garner the honor.
- Jocelyn Amos continues to lead the team with 26 goals this season. She is sixth nationally with .70 goals per game. Amos' 10 power play goals this season still hold for the most in the country. Eighteen of her 48 points this year have been recorded on the power play.
- Graduate forward Jenna Buglioni joins Amos and Dunne as the team's third 40-point scorer. She is three points shy of her career-high 26 recorded in 2021-22. Buglioni has a team-high seven game-winning goals and three shorthanded goals this season. Both are career-high marks.
- Emma Peschel leads Ohio State with 40 blocked shots in 37 games played. She has helped the Buckeye blue line hold opponents to under 20 shots per game.
- Amos also paces the team with 470 wins at the faceoff dot. She has a team-best .680 win percentage, good for second in the tournament field.
- In net for the Buckeyes, Amanda Thiele has played in 26 games and started 25 on the year. She is 18-6-2 with a .882 save percentage. She enters the tournament with a 5-1-0 record in six previous NC tournament games played for her career.
- The Buckeyes are top five in the country in goals (142), assists (240), points (382), team faceoff win percentage (.582), scoring offense (3.84), scoring margin (1.78) and shorthanded goals (7).
- Ohio State and St. Lawrence faced off previously this season with a series in Canton, N.Y. in the fall.
- The Buckeyes swept the series with a 3-2 overtime win and a 5-3 game two victory.
- The last time the teams played at the OSU Ice Rink, Ohio State earned 11-0 and 5-1 wins Nov. 24-25, 2023.
- Ohio State is 10-7-0 in the all-time series against the Saints. Saturday's game will be the first time the teams will meet in the postseason.
