Buckeyes Win B1G Dual vs. Penn State

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 5 Ohio State men's gymnastics team (9-1, 1-0 B1G) earned its first Big Ten win of the season Sunday afternoon against No. 6 Penn State (7-2, 1-1 B1G). The Buckeyes earned a season-high score in the 325.00-323.850 victory on Senior Day at the Covelli Center.
Ohio State had the highest team scores of the meet on floor (54.900), rings (54.550) and high bar (53.800).
Individually, Ohio State gymnasts won three events. Kameron Nelson won floor (14.150) and vault (14.350). Tyler Rockwood won rings, his second win on the event this season, with a career-high 14.150. Nelson has won floor and vault in four of the team's five meets this season.
Jesse Pakele tied for second on floor with a season-best 13.800 and was third on parallel bars with a career-high 13.400. David Ramirez was runner-up on vault (14.250) and Rockwood finished second on parallel bars with a season-best 13.700. Earning third-place finishes were Kristian Grahovski on pommel horse (13.650) and Drake Andrews on rings (13.650 – career high).
