Ohio State Men's Lacrosse Announces 2026 Schedule

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men's lacrosse team's 2026 schedule has been set, head coach Nick Myers announced Thursday. The regular season campaign includes nine home games at Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium and six matchups against 2025 NCAA Tournament teams.

"We're looking forward to another great season at Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium and playing for the best fans in the land," Myers said. "The Big Ten is as strong as it's ever been and combing that with a strong non-conference schedule presents a challenge that our men have been hard at work this offseason to face. Our team is hungry to get on the field and continue the climb towards our ultimate goal."

The 2026 slate opens with three straight home games at Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium with the Buckeyes hosting Detroit Mercy (Feb. 1) in the season opener, followed by Cleveland State (Feb. 7) and Bellarmine (Feb. 10). Ohio State's first road trip of the season is to Colorado Springs, Colo. to take on 2025 ASUN champion Air Force (Feb. 14).

The team's non-conference schedule also includes home games against High Point (Feb. 2), Notre Dame (March 7) and Denver (March 12) and a trip to Georgetown (Feb. 28).

Ohio State's five-game Big Ten Conference schedule includes home games against Penn State (March 28), Johns Hopkins (April 11) and Michigan (April 18) and road contests at Rutgers (March 21) and Maryland (April 4).

The 2026 Big Ten Men's Lacrosse Tournament begins April 25 with first round games at the site of the higher seed. The semifinal and final of the tournament will be held April 30-May 2 at Rutgers.

Times and television designations will be announced at a later date. Dates are subject to change based on announced broadcast designations.

2026 TEAM INFO
The 2026 Buckeyes are led by captains Cullen Brown, Blake Eiland, Taji Flynn, Alex Marinier and Bobby Van Buren. At attack, the Buckeyes' top two goal scorers are back in Marinier and Garrett Haas. Junior goalie Caleb Fyock is back between the pipes for Ohio State after a sophomore campaign that culminated in Ensign C. Markland Kelly Jr. Outstanding Goalie honors. Also returning on the defensive end is the starting lineup from 2025 of Brown, Van Buren and Kyle Foster. Van Buren is the reigning William C. Schmeisser Co Defensive Player of the Year. Ohio State returns five USILA All-Americans to the field in 2026 and welcomes 16 newcomers and five transfers.
