
Ohio State Hosts Western Michigan on Monday for Holiday Hoops

The Buckeyes and Broncos will meet for the first time since 2014 on Monday at 6:30 p.m.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 21/21 Ohio State women's basketball team (10-1, 1-0 B1G) hosts Western Michigan (3-6) on Monday evening for holiday hoops. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET in a game broadcast on B1G+ and AM1460.
Free parking is available for all fans at every home game. Ohio State students get free admission with a valid BuckID. Fans will celebrate holiday hoops as Brutus ornaments will be dropped during the game and Mike Williams will be playing the saxophone on the concourse before the game, for the national anthem and at halftime.

- Ohio State had all 11 players score and rebound in a 79-45 win against Norfolk State on Thursday as the Buckeyes improved to 10-1.
- Kylee Kitts earned her second career double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Jaloni Cambridge (11) and Dasha Biriuk (10) also scored in double figures, while seven total Buckeyes tallied at least eight points apiece.
- The Buckeye defense extended its streak of 10 or more steals to six consecutive games as the Buckeyes finished with 16 steals.
- Western Michigan visits Columbus with a 3-6 record this season.
- The Broncos hold wins over Milwaukee, Loyola Chicago and Valparaiso and have fallen to Appalachian State, Duquesne, No. 24 Michigan State, Roosevelt, Indiana and Dayton.
- Kailey Starks leads the Western Michigan scoring efforts with 10.7 points per game, while Ariana Wilkes leads the Broncos on the glass with 6.1 rebounds per game.
- Ohio State leads 8-1 in the all-time series against Western Michigan. The Buckeyes have won all five previous meetings with the Broncos in Columbus.
- This is only the second meeting between the Buckeyes and Broncos in the last 44 years. The teams most recently met on Dec. 14, 2014 when Ohio State earned an 83-46 victory in Columbus.
