COLUMBUS, Ohio -- No. 5 Ohio State (0-0) opens the 2025-26 dual season at UT Chattanooga at 1 p.m. Sunday at McKenzie Arena. The match will be live streamed on ESPN+.Â
- In Ohio State's first event of the season last Sunday at the 2025 Clarion Open, the Buckeyes came away with six titles. Brendan McCrone (125), Ben Davino (133), Paddy Gallagher (165), Dylan Fishback (184), Luke Geog (197) and Nick Feldman (HWT) all had their arms raised after their respective title matches.Â
- Jesse Mendez, Ohio State's three-time All-American and two-time defending national champion at 141, opened his season at the 2025 NWCA All-Star Championships against No. 6 Anthony Echemendia of Iowa State. Mendez prevailed in the highly-anticipated match, 7-3.Â
- The Buckeyes enter the 2025-26 campaign with 12 NCAA qualifiers on the roster. That group has made 22 combined NCAA championship appearances.
- Following the match against the Mocs, Ohio State will take part in the 2025 National Duals Nov. 15-16 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
