COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 11 Ohio State men's and women's swimming and diving teams open the 2025-26 season at the Raleigh Rumble, hosted by NC State, Friday, Nov. 7-Saturday, Nov. 8.

Meet Info
- In addition to the Wolfpack, Virginia Tech will also be competing at the meet, which will be at the Willis R. Casey Aquatic Center in Raleigh, N.C.
- Friday will feature three swimming sessions, starting at 10:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Saturday will feature one session beginning at 10:30 a.m.
- Diving will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday and at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
- In addition to normal events, the meet will feature knockout rounds of the 50 fly, 50 free, 50 back and 50 breast. There will also be an open water event.

Men's Meet Notes
- The Buckeyes return 16 from last year's squad and welcome 11 newcomers.
- Ohio State placed third at the 2025 Big Ten Championships, placing in the top three for the 16th consecutive season.
- Matt Klinge was the Big Ten champion in the 50 free with a time of 18.78. He went on to win Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors.
- Tristan Jankovics claimed the conference title in the 400 IM, finishing in 3:35.51.
- Tomas Navikonis won two titles, taking home gold in the 100 free (41.55) and the 200 free (1:31.01).
- The Buckeyes placed 16th at the NCAA Championships, earning a top 20 finish for the sixth straight season.
- Jankovics was the second-place finisher in the 400 IM, swimming a program record time of 3:35.51.
- Five returning Buckeyes earned All-American honors; Cornelius Jahn (200 medley relay, 400 free relay, 800 free relay), Jankovics (200 IM, 400 IM, 800 free relay), Klinge (50 free, 200 medley relay, 200 free relay), Navikonis (200 free, 200 free relay, 400 free relay, 800 free relay) and Jordi Vilchez (800 free relay).
Women's Meet Notes
- Ohio State returns 16 from last year's team and welcomes 13 newcomers.
- The Buckeyes were the 2025 Big Ten champions, claiming their fifth conference title in six years.
- Lena Hentschel won the Big Ten title on the 1-meter board for the second straight season with a score of 328.75.
- Sienna Angove was the Big Ten champion in the 400 IM with a time of 4:03.92.
- Mila Nikanorov was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year. She earned First Team All-American honors in the 500 free and the 1650 free.
- Ohio State placed 14th at the NCAA Championships. It was the fourth consecutive season the Buckeyes placed in the top 15.
- Five returning Buckeyes earned All-American honors; Sienna Angove (400 IM, 400 free relay, 800 free relay), Rachel Bockrath (200 free relay, 400 free relay, 800 free relay), Erin Little (200 free relay, 400 free relay, 800 free relay), Krista Marlin (200 back) and Nikanorov (500 free, 1650 free).
