Ohio State Captures Largest Win in Program History

The Buckeyes scored a program record 130 points to earn the largest win (130-32) in program history on Sunday against Niagara.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The RV/RV Ohio State women's basketball team (6-1) defeated Niagara (0-7) by a 130-32 margin on Sunday afternoon in the Schottenstein Center. The Buckeyes set a program record in points (130), assists (37), field goals made (52) and won by the largest margin in history (+98).
Ohio State used an 18-0 run at the beginning of the first quarter to build a 26-6 lead after 10 minutes. The Buckeye defense allowed just one basket in a 31-6 second quarter as Ohio State led by a 57-12 margin going into the locker room. Ohio State used the most points in a third quarter in program history (42) to extend the lead to 99-21 after 30 minutes. The Buckeyes used a 22-0 run in the fourth to cap a 130-32 win.
Jaloni Cambridge reached double figures early in the second quarter, when Niagara had six points as a team, and finished with 14 total points in just 15 minutes played. Bryn Martin and Dasha Biriuk both joined J. Cambridge in double figures in the first half on their way to a career-high 21 points and a career-high 25 points, respectively. Ava Watson also scored in double figures with a season-high 15 points and notched a career-high 10 assists for her first double-double.
