Ohio State Opens Big Ten Play at Northwestern Sunday Afternoon

The Buckeyes and Wildcats will meet in Evanston on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 23/24 Ohio State women's basketball team (6-1) travels to Northwestern (6-2) for the Big Ten opener on Sunday. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET in a game broadcast on BTN and AM1460.
- Ohio State earned a 130-32 win against Niagara on Sunday, breaking the single game program records for points scored (130), winning margin (+98), field goals made (52) and assists (37). The Buckeyes' 37 assists are tied for the most in Big Ten history and the points (130) and field goals made (52) are tied for the second-most in conference history.
- Ohio State scored a program-record 42 points in the third quarter, which ties for the second-most points scored in a program in Big Ten history.
- Freshmen Dasha Biriuk (25) and Bryn Martin (21) each tallied the first 20-point performance of their collegiate careers. Ava Watson earned her first collegiate double-double with a season-high 15 points and a career-high 10 assists. Watson also added a career-high seven steals. Freshman Seini Henry grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds.
- Jaloni Cambridge was named to the Big Ten Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.
- Northwestern enters the weekend with a 6-2 record this season. The Wildcats lost to Missouri and Kansas, while they own wins against IU Indy, SIUE, Maryland Eastern Shore, DePaul, Cleveland State and Abilene Christian.
- Grace Sullivan leads Northwestern and ranks third in the conference with 22.8 ppg and 9.3 rpg. Caroline Lau leads the Big Ten with 8.9 apg.
