
Ohio State Hosts Niagara Sunday Afternoon

The Buckeyes will celebrate Brutus’ 60th birthday on Sunday for youth day.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The RV/RV Ohio State women's basketball team (5-1) returns home to face Niagara (0-6) on Sunday afternoon. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. in a game broadcast on B1G+ and AM1460.
Parking is free at all home games. Sunday's game is youth day as the Buckeyes will celebrate Brutus' 60th birthday. Be sure to arrive early as Brutus and his Ohio friends will be available on the concourse for pregame photos and autographs, in addition to other activities suchas face painting, balloon twisting and more. Brutus and his Ohio friends will also play a game at halftime on the court.

- Ohio State defeated No. 21/20 West Virginia on Wednesday by an 83-81 margin to win the Pink Flamingo Championship in Nassau. Jaloni Cambridge was named tournament MVP. Chance Gray joined Cambridge on the all-tournament team.
- The Buckeyes trailed by as many as eight points in the fourth quarter and were down by four with less than two minutes to play. Ohio State regained the lead with 24 seconds on the game clock from an Elsa Lemmilä jumper.
- Cambridge (22), Bryn Martin (career-high 16) and Chance Gray (15) all scored in double figures with Martin and Gray each making four triples. Gray also tied her career-high seven assists.
- Ohio State's defense totaled 14 steals and forced 25 turnovers in the win.
- Niagara visits Columbus with a 0-6 record, having lost to St. Bonaventure, Stonehill, Kent State, Virginia Tech, Radford and Fordham.
- Chasity Wilson (9.7ppg) and Talia Dial (9.5ppg) lead the Purple Eagles' offense this season. Wilson also leads the team with 10 assists and 10 steals.
- On the boards, Tyasia Freeman leads the team with 4.8 rebounds per game.
