COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 3 Ohio State women's hockey team opens its two week road stretch at No. 5 Minnesota Duluth this weekend. The Buckeyes (11-1-0, 9-1-1 WCHA) and Bulldogs (10-4-0, 6-4-0 WCHA) meet 7 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday at AMSOIL Arena in Duluth, Minn.

Ohio State will compete in the 2025 D1 in DC tournament Nov. 28-29 at Medstar Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, Va. The Buckeyes face off against Clarkson Friday, Nov. 28 at 4 p.m. and Colgate Saturday, Nov. 29 at 5 p.m. The games will be streamed on the JWHL YouTube channel.

Buckeyes in a Nutshell
- Ohio State enters the series against Minnesota Duluth tied for first in the WCHA standings with Wisconsin. Both teams have 26 points on the year in 10 conference games played.
- Last weekend, the Buckeyes swept Minnesota State with 5-2 and 7-3 victories in Columbus. Sara Swiderski recorded a career-high three points in each game for a team best six points on the weekend, earning her first career WCHA Defender of the Week award. Hilda Svensson earned WCHA Rookie of the Week honors for a five-point, two-goal weekend.
- Ohio State continues to be led in points by Svensson with 23 points. She is the first Buckeye to hit 20 points this season and leads freshmen nationally in point production. Svensson is fourth nationally in total points and the only freshman in the top 10. Her 14 assists are a team high and rank fourth in the country. The Oskarshamn, Sweden native leads rookies nationally with nine goals.
- Joy Dunne's 13 goals are a team high. She is third in the country in goals scored and averages 1.30 goals per game, good for second nationally and first in the league.
- The Buckeyes head into the weekend top five nationally in points (147), goals (61), assists (86), scoring offense (5.08) and scoring margin (3.00) and first nationally in faceoff win percentage (.633). Svensson is third in assists per game (1.17) while she and Dunne are fourth in game-winning goals with three on the year.
- Ohio State is 17-6-0 against Minnesota Duluth in the last five seasons.
- The Bulldogs hold the advantage in the overall series, 76-35-8.
- In the team's last trip to AMSOIL Arena to play Minnesota Duluth, Ohio State earned a series sweep with 3-1 and 2-1 wins.
