Anthrop Named Big Ten Player of the Week

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Senior Jack Anthrop was named the Big Ten Player of the Week Wednesday after he qualified for the 2025 NCAA Singles Championships following competition at the 2025 Central Sectional Championships last week in Ann Arbor.Â
Anthrop became the third Buckeyes to qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships (Nov. 18-23) in Orlando, Florida, after he advanced to the semifinals at the sectional competition with a 3-0 record.
He earned straight set wins in all three matches last week.
Anthrop will enter NCAA tournament play with a 12-3 record this fall.Â
