Buckeyes host No. 8 Maryland at noon Saturday
- Freshman Michael Ndiweni started his first career game for the Buckeyes.
- Wolverines forward Michael Ramirez scored in the 30' to put Michigan up 1-0. Eight minutes later, Ramirez struck a pass upfield to Grayson Elmquist where Elmquist won a one-on-one and netted the ball, finishing the first half with the Wolverines up 2-0.
- In the 66', Ohio State had two near chances from Luciano Pechota and Aaron Hurge, but were kept scoreless by Michigan keeper Isaiah Goldson.
- The Wolverines totaled three goals after Elmquist scored his second goal of the game inside the goalie box in the 67'.
- Hurge scored his second career goal in the 76' after a through ball by Pechota. The goal was also assisted by Ashton Bilow to reduce the Wolverine lead to two, 3-1.
