COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 2 Ohio State women's hockey team hosts Minnesota State in a two-game Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) series at the OSU Ice Rink this weekend. The Buckeyes (18-5-3, 12-5-3 WCHA) and Mavericks (10-13-1, 4-13-1 WCHA) face off at 6 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday.

- Fans are encouraged to wear scarlet to "Scarlet Out" the OSU Ice Rink Friday. The first 200 fans will receive scarlet crew neck sweatshirts.
- There will be a postgame skate following Saturday's game. Fans can either bring their own skates or rent a pair for free from the OSU Ice Rink.
- Ohio State finished its regular season non-conference schedule 6-0-0 after a win over Mercyhurst earlier this week. In addition to the sweep of the Lakers, the team earned ranked wins over St. Lawrence and Cornell and added a victory over Stonehill.
- The Buckeyes have two 30-point scorers so far this season in sophomores Jocelyn Amos and Joy Dunne. Amos leads the team with a career-high 17 goals. Junior defender Emma Peschel has recorded a team-high 18 assists on the year.
- Amos is the Buckeyes' leading power play scorer with six goals and 12 points on the player advantage. She paces the WCHA and ranks second in the country in the power play goals category. The team is .231 on the power play entering the weekend and ranks seventh in power play goals scored (18).
- Buckeye captain Jenna Buglioni leads the country with six game-winning goals this season. She recorded the game-winning goals in three straight ranked match ups -Â Oct. 4-5 at No. 8 St. Lawrence, and Oct. 11 vs. No. 2 Minnesota - and has tied the program record for career game-winning goals with 16.
- Ohio State ranks third nationally with a .587 win percentage on the faceoff. Amos is third nationally with 326 wins at the dot and Buglioni is sixth with 309. Amos leads the team with a .700 win percentage.
- Jordyn Petrie is tied for second among rookies with 12 goals on the year. She has 19 points this year for the Buckeyes.
- Former Ohio State women's hockey players Jenn Gardiner, Sophie Jaques and Emma Maltais will reunite on Hockey Canada's February Rivalry Series roster.
- The teams are 1-1-0 against each other this season.
- In the fall, Ohio State won game one in in overtime, 2-1, and Minnesota State took game two, 4-1, in Mankato, Minn.
- Ohio State is 86-15-9 all-time against Minnesota State.
- The last time the teams met in Columbus, Ohio State earned a sweep of the Mavericks with 6-1 and 4-1 wins.
