COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 9 Ohio State women's gymnastics team won its first Big Ten Conference meet of the season Saturday night at the Covelli Center, outscoring Iowa, 196.275-195.200. Â

The Buckeyes (2-2, 1-0 B1G) swept the individual event titles and won the vault, beam and floor team titles in their first meet in front of a home crowd.

Tory Vetter won the all-around for the second meet in a row, finishing the day with a season-best score of 39.575. She won the floor title with a career-high tying 9.925 and won the bars title with a career-high 9.925. The Hilliard, Ohio native also earned a share of the beam title with a 9.875 on the apparatus.

Junior Payton Harris, one of the team's 2025 Big Ten Gymnasts to Watch, made her season debut against Iowa. She tied Vetter for the beam title and also competed on bars.

JJ Coleman's vault performance highlighted the Buckeyes' opening rotation as she anchored the team with her first career 9.900 in her first meet at the Covelli Center. The performance won her the first event title of her career.

Ohio State closed the meet with its best rotation of the night, scoring a 49.375 on floor. The Buckeyes earned the top three scores of the rotation, led by Vetter's 9.925. Riley Guevara added her second consecutive 9.900 on floor for second overall. Coleman tied for third with a career-best 9.875. Ohio State counted a 9.850 from Kaitlyn Grimes and, a 9.825 from Sidney Washington and a 9.800 from Maisyn Rader.

Also hitting career best marks in the meet were Cameron Smith on vault (9.850) and beam (9.850), Guevara on beam (9.800), Kaitlyn Grimes on floor (9.850), Samara Buchanan on bars (9.750) and Maisyn Rader on floor (9.800).
