COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 17 Ohio State will take its undefeated record on the road for the first time this season. The Buckeyes will take on Navy on Thursday evening in Annapolis, Md., before making the trip to Auburn for a Top 25 matchup on Sunday afternoon.
The match against Navy will kick at 7 p.m. on Thursday and will be streamed on ESPN+. The match against No. 13 Auburn will start at noon ET and will be televised on the SEC Network.
- This will be the third meeting all-time with the Naval Academy. The Buckeyes won both previous meetings, winning 2-0 in Annapolis in 1996 and 2-1 in Columbus in 2021. Kailyn Dudukovich scored a goal just 1:32 into the 2021 match.
- Sunday's match against Auburn will be just the second meeting all-time between the programs as the Buckeyes beat the Tigers 2-0 last year in Columbus. Emma Sears and Amanda Schlueter were the goal scorers in the win.
- All-time, the Buckeyes are currently 10-12-4 all-time against teams currently in the SEC.
- Navy has already played seven matches and holds a 4-3-0 record. That includes a 1-0 setback at home against Big Ten foe Maryland.
- Auburn has opened the season at 5-0-0 and enters the week with the third-most goals scored in the country with 22.
- The Buckeyes are ranked for the third-consecutive week in the USC Coaches Poll, checking in at No. 17 this week.
- The Buckeyes have 18 freshmen and sophomores on the roster with seven of their 11 starters are underclassmen.
- Ohio State is looking to start a season unbeaten in its first five matches for just the eighth time in its program's history.
- Senior forward Kailyn Dudukovich scored a goal in each of the first three matches of the season and has a total of five goals on the year.
- Dudukovich's five goals have her tied for fourth in the Big Ten and in the Top 20 goal-scorers in the country through the early part of the season.
- Freshmen Jadin Bonham and Ava Greco each scored their first career goals in the 3-1 win over Ashland on Aug. 25. Bonham and Greco have each started every match this season.
- Bonham has three assists on the year as well, for a total of five points, which is third-most by a Big Ten freshman this season.
