
No. 11 Ohio State Defeats Michigan on the Road 2-1

COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 11 Ohio State showed its late heroics again as the Buckeyes scored two second half goals to storm back and take a 2-1 decision at Michigan on Sunday afternoon.
Ohio State improves to 8-1-3 overall and 3-0-2 in Big Ten play as the Buckeyes are unbeaten in their last six matches. Michigan falls to 2-9-1 and 1-4-0 in conference matches.
Michigan took the lead early in the first half, but the Buckeyes came out hot in the second half.
Amanda Schlueter scored just shy of the midway point in the second half to pull the Buckeyes even. It was her eighth goal of the year, and she runs her point-streak to six consecutive matches.
Kailyn Dudukovich scored with four minutes left in the game. Dudukovich now has a team-high 11 goals on the season, and it was her nation-leading six game-winner. She moves into second place all time in program history for goals in a career with 36.

How it Happened
Michigan got on the board first, with a goal in the 13th minute of the match.
Ohio State came out in the second half with increased intensity. In the 62nd minute of the match, Amanda Schlueter put the Buckeyes on the scoreboard. Schlueter took on multiple Wolverine defenders at the top of the 18-yard box and laced a shot that beat the goalkeeper off the post and into the net.

With four minutes left in the match Kailyn Dudukovich gave the Buckeyes the lead. Off a cross from Schlueter, Dudukovich dribbled through traffic, slipped and found the top right corner of the net as she went to the ground.

The Buckeyes return home to host a match against Maryland on Friday evening. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m. and will be streamed on B1G+.
