COLUMBUS, Ohio – It's Michigan week for No. 11 Ohio State as the Buckeyes will host No. 1 Michigan State on Thursday and then head to Michigan on Sunday. The match with the Spartans on Thursday will start at 7 p.m. and Sunday’s match is scheduled for a 1 p.m. first touch. Both matches will be streamed live on B1G+.
Admission and parking are free for all Ohio State women’s home matches.
- The Buckeyes are 16-12-1 all-time against Michigan State. Neither team has scored more than one goal in any of the last seven meetings, dating back to a 2-0 Ohio State win in 20215.
- Last season, the teams opened Big Ten play with a 1-1 draw at Michigan State on Sept. 17. MSU got on the board early but Sophia Louder headed-home the first goal of her career in the 63rd minute to knot the score at 1-1 and it would stay that way over the final 27 minutes.
- Michigan State is one of the oldest teams in the country and boasts an 8-0-2 overall record and a 3-0-0 mark through the first three Big Ten matches. The Spartans are coming off a 1-0 win at Penn State Sunday in a Top 10 matchup. MSU scored two minutes into the contest and made it stand up the rest of the way.
- Michigan has had a rough start to the season, winning just two matches in 10 tries. But one of those wins came on Sunday in a 3-2 victory over Nebraska.
- The all-time series between Ohio State and Michigan is close as Michigan holds a slim 15-14-6 advantage.

- Last season, the Buckeyes capped the regular season with a 4-1 thumping of the Wolverines in Columbus. Emma Sears, Ella Giannola, Amanda Schlueter and Kailyn Dudukovich all scored in the win. Prior to last year's meeting, the previous eight matches were either a draw or decided by one goal.
- Ohio State is coming off its most thrilling win of the season. Trailing 1-0 late in the match vs. Northwestern on Sunday, Amanda Schlueter stole the ball deep in the Wildcat end and evened the score in the 85th minute. Then Ava Bramblett ripped a shot from just outside the box in the 90th minute to give the Buckeyes a 2-1 victory.
- The Buckeyes come in a 7-1-2 overall and 2-0-1 in conference play. They are ranked a season-high No. 11 in the latest USC Coaches Poll.
- In the RPI, the Buckeyes are No. 7 and have the third-hardest schedule in the country.
- Schlueter has been amazing so far this season. She has scored a goal in each of the last four matches and has seven goals on the season, topping her total from last season.
