COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State carded an under-par final round 283 and finished seventh at The Tindall this week at the Alderra Golf Club in Fall City, Wash.
Individually, sophomore Jack Vojtko led the way as he carded rounds of 64-73-72 to finish at 4-under par. That was his second-lowest finish to par in his career and his T14 is his second Top 20 in two events this season.
Redshirt-sophomore Tyler Sabo continued his steady start to the year, posting rounds of 69-71-70 to finish at shot behind Vojtko at 3-under par. That was his third career under-par tournament in his career.
Freshman Vaughn Harber finished with a 76 on Tuesday and was 2-over par and tied for 34th for the tournament. Fellow freshman Timotej Formanek completed his first collegiate tournament with an under-par round of 70. He made three birdies and an eagle in his round and finished tied for 40th at 3-over.
Joe Wilson IV made five birdies over his final nine holes to post an even-par 71 and tied with Formanek at 3-over par. Jacob Tarkany, playing as an individual this week, carded a final round 76.
The Buckeyes will return to action quickly as they will play at The Blessings Collegiate Invitational next Monday through Wednesday in Fayetteville, Ark.
