COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's volleyball team (6-3) won a four-set match (25-22, 23-25, 25-20, 25-21) against Bowling Green (5-5) on Friday evening on the road in front of a Mid-American Conference record attendance of 4,201. Â
Ohio State did not trail in the first set after surrendering the first point and earned the 25-22 set win. The Buckeyes battled back in the second set after being down eight points early but the Falcons evened the match with back-to-back points to claim a 25-23 set win. The third set was tied at 19 before a 5-0 Ohio State run gave the Buckeyes the separation needed for a 25-20 set win. The fourth set was tied as late as 18 before OSU finished on a 7-3 run to take the match with a 25-21 set win.

Olivia Hasbrook (18), Mia Tuman (career-high (19), Grace Egan (tied career-high 15), Sydney Taylor (10) and Emily Londot (10) reached double-figure digs. Tuman added 47 assists for her third double-double of the season. Rader was first in the match to reach 10 kills and finished with 11 kills. Londot (16) and Egan (career-high 17) joined Rader with double-digit kills. Rader also matched her season-high eight blocks as the Buckeyes totaled a season-best 16 blocks.

Bowling Green opened scoring before five consecutive Ohio State points. The Buckeyes led 7-2 following an ace from Grace Egan but the Falcons answered with a 5-0 run of their own to tie the set at seven. OSU and BGSU traded 3-0 runs as the set was tied at 11. The Buckeyes scored the next three points and then back-to-back points gave Ohio State an 18-14 lead, prompting a Bowling Green timeout. OSU called timeout with a 20-19 after a 4-1 BGSU run. Rader capped a 25-22 set win with her third kill of the evening.
