COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's volleyball team (5-3) wraps up the 2024 non-conference schedule this weekend with a home-and-home with Bowling Green. The Buckeyes travel to Bowling Green on Friday for a 6 p.m. match on ESPN+ and host the Falcons on Sunday at 1 p.m. on B1G+.

- Ohio State went 2-1 last weekend at the Sports Imports Classic inside Covelli. The Buckeyes opened with a sweep (25-21, 25-21, 25-16) against then No. 20 Miami FL before beating Buffalo in five sets (16-25, 25-19, 21-25, 25-21, 15-11) and falling to Wright State (25-17, 21-25, 18-25, 15-25). The Buckeyes' sweep of No. 20 Miami is the first sweep of a ranked opponent since Oct. 12, 2022 at No. 10 Minnesota.
- Emily Londot was named Big Ten Player of the Week for the seventh time in her career on Monday after a trio of double-doubles and leading all three matches in kills. She also moved up to second in career kills, third in career points and 18th in career digs among OSU's all-time leaders.
- Freshman libero Olivia Hasbrook leads the Buckeyes in digs, averaging 3.66/set this season. She recorded her 100th career dig on Sunday as she posted a career-high 21 digs in the four-set match.
- Bowling Green enters the weekend with a 5-4 record after winning two of three matches last weekend at the DePaul Tournament.
- This season, the Falcons own wins over Chicago State, UMBC, Wright State, Brown and DePaul and have losses against Illinois, Cincinnati, then No. 22 Dayton and UIC.
- Jessica Andrews was named MAC Co-Defensive Player of the Week on Monday and leads the team in blocks (1.23/set) this season.
- Ohio State leads 13-0 in the all-time series against Bowling Green. The Buckeyes are 2-0 in Bowling Green and 4-0 in Columbus against the Falcons.
- This will be the first time since 1978 that the teams will place more than once in a season.
- The teams most recently met last season at the NKU Invitational. Ohio State won in five sets (25-20, 15-25, 23-25, 25-16, 15-7).
- OSU and BGSU most recently played in Bowling Green on Sept. 10, 2005 with the Buckeyes claiming a five-set win (30-23, 30-24, 27-30, 26-30, 15-9). The most recent meeting in Columbus was on Sept. 18, 2009 when Ohio State earned a sweep (25-19, 25-20, 25-13).
