
Buckeyes Open Folds of Honor Collegiate with Round of 295

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State redshirt-sophomore Tyler Sabo carded an even-par round of 71 on Monday to lead the Buckeyes on day one of the Folds of Honor Collegiate.
As a team, the Buckeyes shot an 11-over 295 and are tied for seventh in the 15-team field.
Sabo made four birdies in his round as he is tied for 10th heading into Tuesday.
Freshman Vaughn Harber played in his first collegiate round and posted a 3-over 74. He made a couple of birdies and one of only two eagles on the day on the par-5 sixth hole.
Jack Vojtko and Jacob Tarkany both made a pair of birdies in their opening rounds of 4-over 75. Joe Wilson IV played in his first collegiate event in a year and a half and posted an 8-over 79.
The Buckeyes will start the second round at 8 a.m. off the back nine with Kentucky and Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Golf Channel will have three hours of live coverage from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
