
Epstein to Play for Team Israel in European Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Lindsay Epstein, a standout for the Ohio State women's lacrosse team from 2018-22, has been selected for the Israeli National Team and will compete in the European Championships this summer. The  2024 European Lacrosse Federation Senior Championship will be played in Braga, Portugal, July 10-20 and include 18 teams.

Epstein is currently in her second year as an assistant coach at Fairfield. She was a three-time captain for the Buckeyes and played and started 61 games in the Scarlet and Gray, with 63 goals, 18 assists, 81 points, 79 ground balls, 72 draw controls and 46 caused turnovers. In 2022 she earned Second Team All-Midwest Region and All-Big Ten accolades and was named an Honorable Mention All-American by both USA Lacrosse Magazine and IL Women. She was a 2021 second team all-conference selection and earned a spot on the conference all-tournament team.Â
A native of Marietta, Ga., Epstein was a two-time B1G Distinguished Scholar and was named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll twice. She earned Academic All-Big Ten and Ohio State Scholar-Athlete honors four times each. She received her undergraduate degree in communication in Autumn 2020 and her graduate degree in sport management in Spring 2022.
