COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 14 Ohio State, along with three-highly ranked foes, will compete at the 2024 Longhorn Invite Saturday in Austin, Texas. The Buckeyes face No. 2 Texas and No. 12 Virginia on Lake Walter E. Long. No. 1 Standford also will be at the event.
The four programs have combined to win nine of the last 14 NCAA championships.
For Ohio State, the regatta is the final event before the 2024 Big Ten Championships May 19 at Devil's Lake in Baraboo, Wisconsin,
The Buckeyes opened the 2024 season at the Big Ten/Ivy Duals in Camden, New Jersey, before playing host to the Big Ten/ACC Duals. Ohio State then hosted the OSU Regatta, where it won six-of-seven races April 6 at the Griggs Reservoir.
The last time out at the 2024 Big Ten Invite, the Buckeyes finished among the Top 2 in 11-of-21 races, including three victories by the 3V4.
