COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 11 Ohio State opened the 2024 season Saturday with a win and four second-place finishes behind No. 5 Yale in the 2024 Big Ten/Ivy League Duals.
The teams battled heavy rain and a moderate headwind on the Cooper River in Camden, New Jersey.
Ohio State also faced Big Ten foe Rutgers at the event.
The Buckeyes won three races in the afternoon races against Syracuse and Rutgers.
Ohio State will be on its home course the next two weekends while playing host to the Big Ten/ACC Duals March 30 and then the OSU Regatta against Oregon State, Indiana and Minnesota April 6. Races will be held at the Griggs Reservoir.
