Wallin Fires 66 in Final Round of Valspar Collegiate

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Senior Adam Wallin fired a final round 66 to lead Ohio State on the final day of the Valspar Collegiate Invitational at the Floridian Golf Club.
Wallin made three birdies and an eagle in his first six holes and would finish with a total of four birdies and just one bogey on the day. The 66 was his lowest round of the season and it lifted him into a tie for 25th at 1-over par.
Maxwell Moldovan opened with a pair of solid rounds of 1-under 70 and then finished with a 77 on Tuesday to finish in a tie for 38th at 4-over par. Neal Shipley had a 76 in the final round on Tuesday and finished in a tie for 57th at 7-over par.
Senior Jackson Chandler finished his tournament with a round of 80 and freshman Jack Vojtko came in with an 84.
The Buckeyes will be off for three and a half weeks as they prepare to host the Robert Kepler Invitational on April 19-21. In between, Neal Shipley will play in his first Masters on April 11-14.
