
Buckeyes Travel to Michigan, Texas to Compete This Weekend

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State synchronized swimming team makes its first trips of the 2024 season, competing at Michigan and Texas Woman's University this weekend.
The Buckeyes will send trio student-athletes to Texas Woman's on Saturday. The meet is set to start at 4:30 p.m. from Pioneer Hall Pool in Denton, Texas.
After competing in Texas, the whole squad reunites to compete at Michigan for the Joyce Lindeman Memorial Meet. Competition begins at 2 p.m. from the Canham Natatorium in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Last Time Out
The Buckeyes finished second at the Jessica C. Beck Memorial Invitational last weekend. Hannah Heffernan earned her first solo win to lead the Buckeyes in the category, while she teamed up with Emily Armstrong for a third-place finish in duet. Armstrong, Heffernan and Emma Spott led the team with a third-place finish in trio and the Scarlet team routine led Ohio State with third in the category.
2024 Buckeyes
The Buckeyes return eight members of the 2023 national championship team. Of those returners, five were part of the 2022 title-winning team. Ohio State's roster represents four countries with student-athletes from Canada, Colombia, Peru and the United States. The team is made up of eight freshmen, three sophomores, three juniors, one senior and a graduate.
