Ohio State Closes 2026 Season at U.S. Collegiate Championship

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State artistic swimming team is set for the 2026 U.S. Collegiate Championship this week. The Buckeyes will compete Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28 at Avery Aquatics Center in Stanford, Calif.
Routine Schedule
Friday, March 27
Ohio State has won two overall institution national championships in the last four years and 34 overall. In addition to team titles, the Buckeyes have won 18 solo, 28 duet, 28 trio and 33 team routine titles.
On this year's team, Ruby Remati returns as a 2023 duet and A Figures champion. Remati also was a part of a national championship trio in 2022. Hannah Heffernan and Remati were members of the Buckeyes' 2022 title-winning team routine.
The Buckeyes finished third at the 2025 U.S. Collegiate Championships with Remati and Rikki Evans earning national titles in technical competition. In routines, Ohio State placed second in solo and trio and third in team. Ohio State has won 33 national titles in program history with its last championships in 2022 and 2023.

The 2026 Buckeyes
- Ohio State's 2026 roster includes 20 returners and five newcomers. The roster features representatives of three countries, nine states and two Canadian provinces.
- Among the returners to the roster this season are 2025 All-Americans Scarlett Finn, Keana Hunter, Ruby Remati and Emma Spott. Remati was also an All-Collegiate performer in 2025.
- Ohio State is led by head coach Holly Vargo-Brown who has led the program for the last 14 seasons and has been a member of the team, both as a coach and as a student-athlete. She has had a hand in 26 of the program's national titles. Vargo-Brown is assisted by Monica Velazquez-Stiak, who is in her fourth season on the coaching staff after competing for the Buckeyes from 2015-18.
