Ohio State Travels to Maryland for First B1G Road Test

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 12 Ohio State women's gymnastics makes its first Big Ten road trip of the year this weekend to compete against No. 25 Maryland. The meet between the Buckeyes and Terrapins is set for Sunday, Feb. 4 at 1 p.m. from the XFINITY Center in College Park, Md.

The meet will be streamed on B1G+ (subscription required).

Buckeyes in a Nutshell

Ohio State already competed once this week, earning its first Big Ten win of the season against Illinois on Monday night. A Buckeye gymnast earned an event title on each apparatus and the team won three of four overall event titles.
The Buckeyes have recorded three straight scores of over 197.000. The team's best score of the season was a 197.150 in the tri-meet against Ball State and Towson.
Ohio State's highest score on vault this year is a 9.900, with Payton Harris, Nicole Riccardi and Tory Vetter each hitting the mark. Emma Pritchard and Riccardi have scored a team-high 9.900 on uneven bars. Courtney McCann leads the way with a 9.975 on balance beam, the highest score earned by a Buckeye this season. Hodges has scored a team-high 9.950 twice this year on floor.
Hodges has scored over a 9.900 on floor in every meet this season.
The Buckeyes lead the Big Ten with an average overall score of 196.983 and average scores of 49.425 on floor and 49.258 on vault.
