COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State synchronized (artistic) swimming team competed in its first road test of the season last weekend, traveling to Texas and Michigan for meets.
Â
The Buckeyes won the Joyce Lindeman Memorial Meet at Michigan on Sunday, finishing ahead of Michigan and Colorado State with a team score of 92 points. Ohio State finished second to Texas Woman's University on Saturday, finishing the meet with 58 points on the day.
Â
"It's exciting to see the growth in our sport at the collegiate level, particularly with such a young program like Texas Woman's University," head coach Holly Vargo Brown said. "This was a challenging weekend, particularly for the five student-athletes who competed in two meets in two different states in two days, and I'm proud of the resiliency of the group."

In solo, Hannah Heffernan earned her second win of the season with a score of 152.1542, a 15-point improvement on her score from Saturday's meet. Daniella and Gabriella Molano Arango won the duet category with a score of 139.6792.
