COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's volleyball team (8-11, 1-8 B1G) hosts No. 15 Minnesota (13-6, 6-3 B1G) on Sunday for a 1 p.m. ET matinee inside the Covelli Center. The match will be broadcast live on B1G+. Parking remains free for all home matches.

The match will be the Buckeyes' annual pink match in which they partner with The James Comprehensive Cancer Center. Pink glow wands will be given to the first 3,000 fans There will also be a postmatch meet and greet with the team.

Ohio State dropped its mid-week match (26-28, 19-25, 25-27) at No. 10 Purdue as the Buckeyes faced their third top-10 opponent in six days.
Emily Londot earned her 11th double-double of the season with 14 kills and 12 digs - leading the team in both categories. She also passed Jen Flynn Oldenburg's career digs total (1,138) as Londot now owns 1,148 career digs.
Emmi Sellman recorded a career-high 11 digs and Mia Tuman totaled a career-high six blocks.
No. 15 Minnesota enters the match with a 13-6 overall record and a 6-3 mark in Big Ten matches.
In conference play, the Gophers have beaten then No. 7 Wisconsin, UCLA, Indiana, Maryland, Rutgers and Northwestern, but fallen to No. 10 Purdue, then No. 20 USC and No. 3 Penn State. Minnesota faced three ranked opponents in its non-conference schedule, beating then No. 1 Texas but losing to then No. 5 Stanford and No. 23 Baylor.
Phoebe Awoleye ranks second in the conference with 1.57 blocks/set. Julia Hanson leads the Minnesota offense with 3.51 kills/set, while Melani Shaffmaster averages 8.71 assists/set. Zeynep Palabiyik leads the Gophers' back-row defense with 3.85 digs/set.
Ohio State trails 36-52 in the all-time series against Minnesota but leads 20-19 when facing the Gophers in Columbus.
Last season, Minnesota won both meetings - a four-set match (25-21, 14-25, 25-22, 25-18) in Columbus on Nov. 3 and a three-setter (25-14, 25-9, 25-17) in Minneapolis on Nov. 18. Emily Londot led the match in Columbus with 18 kills (and added 11 digs for a double-double) and Rylee Rader was second on OSU's roster with 11 kills. In Minneapolis, neither team had a player with 10+ kills in the match.
Ohio State's most recent win in the series was on Dec. 8, 2022 in the NCAA regional semifinals, hosted by Texas. That match went four sets (22-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-19).
