- 22nd-ANNUAL CONNOR SENN MEMORIAL GAME: Donations will be accepted Monday for the event that raises awareness for sudden cardiac arrest in athletes with proceeds benefiting the Connor Senn Memorial Fund and the Dorothy M. Davis Heart & Lung Research Institute at the Wexner Medical Center. On Sept. 26, 2001, Connor Senn, a freshman on the men's soccer team, collapsed on the field during the Buckeyes' game at Akron and died that evening from a congenital heart defect, a condition virtually undetectable more than a decade ago. The Connor Senn Memorial Fund was quickly established by Dr. Lance Senn, Connor's father and a former member of the Ohio State tennis team, with it expanding over the last decade to subsidize a fully-endowed scholarship at Ohio State. To donate go to: https://wexnermedical.osu.edu/ways-to-give/senn.
- At 7-0-2 and winners in seven of the last eight matches, Ohio State has started the season undefeated, the best start in program history. The last time the Buckeyes enjoyed a stretch of 10 games without a loss was in 2007 when over a 15-match stretch, Ohio State posted a record of 12-0-3 on its way to the national title match vs. Wake Forest (L, 1-2/12/16/2007).Â

- For the second time in three seasons, Ohio State finished the non-conference portion of the regular season without a loss. Ohio State was 5-0-3 in 2022 against out-of-league foes on its way to an 11-3-6 overall record and a trip to the second round of the NCAA tournament.
