Ohio State Hosts No. 11 Oregon in Big Ten Home Opener Thursday

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's volleyball team (7-5, 0-2 B1G) hosts No. 11 Oregon (10-1, 2-0 B1G) in its Big Ten home opener on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on BTN. Parking is free for all fans in the Buckeye lots across the street from the Covelli Center.
This is the Mental Health Awareness match. Ohio State students can get 20% off concessions by showing their BuckID from 7-8 p.m. Buckeye Paws will be on the concourse.

- Ohio State dropped a four-set match (16-25, 22-25, 25-23, 14-25) at UCLA to wrap up its trip to L.A. and the opening weekend of conference play on Sunday.
- Emily Londot recorded the first triple-double by any non-setter in the country among DI players this season and the first one of her career this past Friday at then No. 20 USC. She totaled 15 kills, 11 digs and a career-high 10 blocks to wrap up her double-double streak at six consecutive matches.
- Emmi Sellman made her collegiate debut this past Friday at then No. 20 USC and finished with eight kills and three blocks. She recorded five kills at UCLA.
- Ohio State totaled a season-best 19.5 blocks last Friday at then No. 20 USC, which ties for the 13th-most in a match in program history. Rylee Rader recorded a season-high 10 blocks and Eloise Brandewie tied her career-high eight in addition to Londot's career-high 10.
- No. 11 Oregon enters the match with a 10-1 record and is a perfect 2-0 after the opening weekend of conference play and wins against Illinois and Indiana.
- The Ducks are riding a 10-match win streak after losing the season opener against then No. 4 Pitt back on Aug. 30 and have only dropped nine sets all season. Oregon's non-conference wins came against Long Beach State, Colorado State, Grand Canyon, Central Arkansas, then No. 17 BYU, San Diego, Portland State and Oregon State.
- Mimi Colyer leads the Oregon offense with 3.73 kills/set (10th in B1G), while Cristin Cline is averaging 10.64 assists/set (fourth in B1G). For the Ducks defense, Onye Ofoegbu's 1.46 blocks/set is fourth in the Big Ten and Daley McClellan is averaging 3.21 digs/set.
- Ohio State trails 5-1 in the all-time series against Oregon and is 0-2 when facing the Ducks in Columbus.
- The teams met last season in the Big Ten/Pac-12 Challenge and Ohio State fell in four sets (26-28, 27-25, 20-25, 19-25).
- The most recent match in Columbus was on Aug. 25, 2012 when Oregon won in five sets (25-17, 25-21, 14-25, 24-26, 15-10).
