COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 12/12 Ohio State women's basketball team (16-3, 7-1 B1G) travels to Purdue (9-10, 2-6 B1G) on Sunday afternoon for a 2 p.m. tip-off. The game will be broadcast on B1G+ and AM1460.
- Ohio State holds a 16-3 record this season and is 7-1 in conference play after a 67-59 win on Thursday at Illinois in the teams' lone meeting of the season. The Buckeyes overcame an 11-point deficit at halftime, outscoring the Illini 45-26 during the second half.
- Jacy Sheldon led all scorers with 25 points. Cotie McMahon posted her second-consecutive double-double (17p/11r). Celeste Taylor also scored in double figures with 14 points.
- Purdue enters the game with a 9-10 overall record and is 2-6 in Big Ten play after losing at Michigan State by a 97-70 margin on Wednesday.
- The Boilermakers' conference wins include Wisconsin and Rutgers and their Big Ten losses also include Minnesota, then No. 3 Iowa, Maryland, Penn State and then No. 16 Indiana. Purdue is 8-2 at home this season.
