COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 1 Ohio State women's ice hockey team is set to play its third top-10 opponent in as many weeks with a matchup against No. 9/10 St. Cloud State this weekend in St. Cloud, Minn. The Buckeyes (20-2-0, 17-1-0 WCHA) and Huskies (15-8-1, 10-7-1 WCHA) will play at 4 p.m. ET Friday and 2 p.m. ET Saturday from the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.

Buckeyes in a Nutshell
- In its last series, Ohio State swept No. 7 Minnesota Duluth with 3-0 and 1-0 wins in Columbus. The Buckeyes earned the season sweep of the Bulldogs for the first time in program history.
- Amanda Thiele was named the WCHA's Goaltender of the Week after making 18 saves in the Buckeyes' 1-0 win over Minnesota Duluth. The shutout was her second of the season and the team's third in four games.
- Ohio State's last two series were against top-10 teams. The Buckeyes have only allowed one goal in those four games.
- Last weekend, Ohio State head coach Nadine Muzerall became the winningest coach in program history. She has earned a 180-71-19 record in eight seasons behind the bench for the Buckeyes.
- Graduate forwards Hannah Bilka and Jenn Gardiner lead the team with 27 points each. Gardiner and freshman forward Joy Dunne pace the Buckeyes with 12 goals on the year. Bilka has dished out a team-high 17 assists.Â
- Ohio State's point production ranks among the best in the country and every player on the team has a hand in the success. The team is third in the country in assists (174), goals (104) and points (278). Every Buckeye skater has recorded a point for the Buckeyes and 14 players have tallied over 10 points on the year. Kiara Zanon and Hadley Hartmetz joining BIlka, Dunne and Gardiner with over 20 points this season.
- In 2024, Bilka and Joy Dunne lead the Buckeyes with five points and four goals in four games.
- Two of Bilka's three power play goals this season have been scored since the team returned from break. She is second on the team to Gardiner, who has four power play goals.
- The Buckeyes' penalty kill has not allowed a goal in six games. Ohio State is one of four teams with a perfect penalty kill to start the year.
- Ohio State goaltender Raygan Kirk is second in the country with six shutouts this season. She earned the shutout in the Buckeyes' 3-0 win over Minnesota Duluth and also earned a shutout in the Buckeyes' 7-0 win over Minnesota to start the calendar year. She is second nationally in win percentage (.917) with a record of 11-1-0. The Ste. Anne, Manitoba native is third in the country in goals against average (1.024).
- Ohio State is 1-1-0 against St. Cloud State this season after splitting the home series against the Huskies in November. The Buckeyes' only WCHA loss was suffered against St. Cloud, with the team dropping game one, 2-1, before winning game two, 6-2.
- Ohio State has won 18 of the last 19 matchups against St. Cloud. The Buckeyes have won the last nine games played in St. Cloud.
- Olivia Mobley is two points shy of 100 for her career. She has tallied 13 points this season for the Buckeyes.
- Bilka needs just five more assists to earn 100 career helpers. She is one of eight active NCAA players with 90+ assists. The Coppell, Texas native is fifth among active players with 154 career points.
