He also added six aces and four blocks last week. Pasteur's kill total over the weekend moved him to the No. 11 spot in Ohio State history with 1,211 for his career. He leads the team so far with 109 and has been in double digits in kills in all six matches on the year.
The award this week is the third weekly MIVA award this year for the Buckeyes. Senior Justin Howard took the defensive player of the week award Jan. 9.
The next chance for Ohio State fans to see the top-ranked Buckeyes is in a Top 10 matchup with No. 9 Penn State Thursday at the Covelli Center in Columbus. Match time is 6 p.m. with B1G+ providing the live stream. All regular-season home men's volleyball matches are free, as is parking in the lots around the Covelli Center.
