COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State opens its final non-conference week of the season by hosting in-state rival Ohio on Thursday evening at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. The match will be streamed live on B1G+, beginning at 7 pm. Austin Crume and Keith Kokinda will call the action.

- After a break over the holiday weekend, Ohio State returns to action to host in-state rival Ohio on Thursday evening.
- This will be the sixth all-time meeting between the programs. The Buckeyes lead the series 4-1-0 and are a perfect 4-0 at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
- The last meeting between Ohio State and Ohio came on Sept. 15, 2019, a match in which the Buckeyes won 3-1. Meghan Kammerdeiner and Marissa Birzon each scored first half goals while Kayla Fischer added a goal in the 56th minute.
- Ohio State is 28-5-3 all-time against teams currently in the Mid-American Conference.
- Thursday night will be Senior Night and the program will recognize four seniors prior to the match.
- The Buckeyes are coming off a dominant 6-0 win over Oakland last Thursday night. Kailyn Dudukovich scored a pair of goals while freshman Amanda Schlueter registered her second goal of the season. Three Buckeyes -- Ella Giannola, Coley Sidloski and Ava Bramblett -- all registered their first collegiate goals in the win.
- The program announced its three captains for the season following the Oakland match. Seniors Nina LeFlore and Peyton McNamara and junior Sydney Jones were selected to lead the 2023 team.
- Ohio has opened the year 2-1-2, following a 0-0 draw with Northern Kentucky last Sunday. The Bobcats started the season with wins over Duquesne and Cleveland State.Â
- Dudukovich leads the team through five matches with five goals and two assists. She notched a pair of goals, as well as an assist, in the opener against Miami (Ohio) and against Oakland on Aug. 31.
- The Buckeyes are under the direction of head coach Lori Walker-Hock who is in her 27th season with the program and her 29th overall as a head coach. She has 284 wins at Ohio State and is just three wins away from 300 in her career.
