Events in French Field House this weekend
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The 2023-24 Ohio State fencing team opens its slate this weekend in French Field House in Columbus, as the Buckeyes will host the Ohio State Open Saturday and the Ohio State Duals Sunday. A live stream is expected to be available for both days, accessed through OhioStateBuckeyes.com.
Admission is free both days, with parking free on the south side of French Field House. No concessions will be available; fans are able to bring in food.
The OSU Open
Saturday is an individual tournament. Women's epee and foil will start at 8:30 a.m., with women's saber at 9:45 a.m. The afternoon includes men's epee starting at 12:30, men's foil at 1:45 and men's saber at 3 p.m. Tournament info
The OSU Duals
Sunday features six rounds of dual matches, with two or three matchups in each. Fencing is set to start at 8:30 a.m., with a lunch break after round 3. Results will be uploaded below following each round. WATCH
Round 1: 8:30 a.m. – Ohio State vs. Oberlin, Case Western vs. Michigan State, Purdue vs. Michigan
Round 2: 9:50 a.m. – Ohio State vs. Case Western, Oberlin vs. Denison, Michigan vs. Michigan State
Round 3: 11:15 a.m. – Ohio State vs. Purdue, Case Western vs. Oberlin, Denison vs. Michigan
Lunch: 12:15-1:15 p.m.
Round 4: 1:15 p.m. – Ohio State vs. Michigan, Purdue vs. Case Western, Michigan State vs. Denison
Round 5: 2:35 p.m. – Ohio State vs. Michigan State, Purdue vs. Denison, Michigan vs. Oberlin
