COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State (0-2-1) fell 1-0 on a late Seton Hall (3-0-0) goal Friday at Bill Armstrong Stadium in Bloomington, Indiana. It was the first meeting between the institutions on the pitch.

The match also was the first in the 2023 IU Classic, hosted by No. 10 Indiana University. The Hoosiers fell 1-0 to No. 22 Washington in the nightcap.

The Huskies will next travel to Columbus as part of the event to take on the Buckeyes at 7 p.m. Monday at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.

How it Happened
Neither team put a shot on net in the first half. The Pirates were the first to test either goalkeeper in the 49' but Max Trejo was up to the task with his first save of the match.

The Pirates scored on their second attempt on net in the 81' when Sam Bjork found the back of the net off assists from Andrea Borg and Tomas Nunez.

Notes:
Sophomore Ashton Bilow made his first career start and made his 16^th appearance as a Buckeye.

Ohio State is 9-2-5 in its last 16 outings vs. nonconference opponents.

Max Trejo made the second start of the season in goal for the Buckeyes.
