Bailey Urbach departed her home state of New Hampshire with little-to-no knowledge of Ohio State Athletics teams outside of the rifle program she was set to compete for. The scarce combination of a varsity rifle team and offering of a neuroscience major, just three institutions meet the criteria, drew the recently-graduated Urbach to Ohio State back in 2015. Upon arrival, she set off on a 'sports quest' with an end goal of attending a home event for all 36 Buckeye sports. When OSU cross country hosted its first home meet in 12 years on Sept. 28, 2019, Urbach completed her 36-sport journey.

Her adventure began at 'The Shoe' as one of 100,000+ witnesses to a 38-0 blanking of Hawaii on Sept. 12, 2015. Over the next 1,477 days, Urbach checked off each Buckeye sport one-by-one before coming to a crescendo at the long-awaited cross country meet on Sept. 28, 2019.
