Buckeyes Place Nine on AHCA All-American Scholar List

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Nine members of the 2022-23 Ohio State women's hockey team were named Krampade Division I All-American Scholars, the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) announced Monday.
To qualify for the award, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 grade-point average in each semester of the 2022-23 academic year and had to appear in 40% of the team's games.
Of note, Ohio State tied with Bemidji State for the most honorees from the WCHA. Sophie Jaques was one of 13 players named an All-American Scholar who also earned CCM/AHCA All-America status for her success on the ice last season. Madison Bizal earned her fifth All-American Scholar award and is now the second Buckeye to earn the honor every year of her career.
