Big Ten Championship Final Round Washed Out

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Rain wreaked havoc on this year’s Big Ten Men’s Golf Championship, ultimately washing out the final round on Sunday. That meant the 36-hole scores are final and Ohio State finished in a tie for fifth while Maxwell Moldovan finished in a tie for fifth individually.
For Moldovan, this was his best finish in his three Big Ten Championships and his sixth Top 5 finish in 11 events this season.
The Buckeyes were playing well before the round was halted and ultimately canceled. They were 5-under par as they started the back nine and Moldovan had pulled into a tie for the lead with seven holes to play.
Ohio State will find out their NCAA Regional destination this Wednesday as the Golf Channel announce the six regional fields at 1 p.m.
