
Buckeyes in 7th Through 36 Holes of Calusa Cup

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State is in seventh place in a strong field through two rounds of the Calusa Cup at Calusa Pines GC in Naples, Fla. The Buckeyes posted a 316 on the day.
Scoring was difficult for the entire field on Monday as the average score was nearly four shots over par.
Maxwell Moldovan leads the way for the Buckeyes as he is tied with 17th following a round of 78 on Monday. He had the lone birdie in the field on the difficult par-4 12th. Jackson Chandler matched Moldovan with a 78 on Monday and he is tied for 23rd.
JonErik Alford is tied with Chandler in 23rd following his round of 81. Adam Wallin birdied his final two holes of the day and finished with a 79 while Neal Shipley posted an 82.
The Buckeyes will start Tuesday’s final round at 8 a.m. off the tenth tee with fellow Big Ten rivals Iowa and Purdue.
